RMLS™ Broker Education Series (Coos County)
RMLS™ and Jo Becker of the Fair Housing Council of Oregon invite you to attend Fair Housing Basics and Historical Perspective, taking place the afternoon of Wednesday, August 5th in Coos County.
This class will provide an introduction and overview of federal, state, and local fair housing laws including what are protected classes, common discriminatory actions, and who must comply with the law. The remainder of the time will be dedicated to providing perspective on how we have come to the housing protections we do today, including an eye-opening multimedia presentation and an open discussion on our shared history, nationally and here in Oregon.
