Join Earth Advantage and local ADU expert Kol Peterson for a half-day course intended to increase brokers’ knowledge about accessory dwelling unit (ADU) development in order to respond to increasing client demand for properties with ADU potential. Many prospective home buyers are interested in building an ADU on their property. This course is intended to help brokers understand the basic planning and building regulations for ADU development in the City of Portland to better assist their clients.

The Mid-Columbia Association of REALTORS® invites all interested professionals to attend an education event offering up to 7 OR/WA CE for attendees.

The MCAR® Professional Standards Academy will take place in the morning. This class will cover the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, inform attendees of the process of professional standards, and qualify interested persons for serving on the Professional Standards Committee.

A MCAR® luncheon meeting will take place from 12:15 PM until 1:00 PM, with lunch included in class registration.

Dispute resolution/ombudsman training will take place in the afternoon for anyone passionate about resolving conflicts or for those interested in becoming a trained ombudsman. (Each association has additional qualifications, check with your association to learn more.)

This training will be lead by Laura Murray, Director of Member Policy at the Washington Association of REALTORS®.
