2019 Commercial Real Estate SWOT Conference (Portland)

The Oregon/SW Washington Chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) invite real estate professionals to a one-day conference designed to expose the local, regional, and national issues impacting the commercial real estate industry. This conference will ask what the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the industry; from financing to staffing, taxation to technology, litigation to migration. There will be something for everyone involved in commercial real estate.

CRE experts will discuss drivers and disruptors—amazing deal stories from brokers, developers’ challenges, as well as political climate in the region and nationally. The conference will end with John Mitchell, economist and entertainer.

Attendees may earn up to 5 CE credits.

Reinventing the Water Tower: The BOMA Real Estate Development Workshop

Each year students in the PSU Real Estate Development Workshop produce a development plan for a property site in the Portland or Seattle area. In this class, students form a real estate development team and produce an original development plan, including the development concept, market analysis, conceptual design, economic analysis, capital and operations budget, and management plan.
