To verify that your ActiveKEY\u2019s radio is turned on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press your ActiveKEY\u2019s      On\/Off button. The display should show \u201cReady for Use\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>If the display      indicates that the radio is off, you can press \u201c1\u201d to turn the radio ON.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>According to Supra, here\u2019s what you can expect from the update:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The new firmware will improve your ActiveKEY\u2019s performance in several ways.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Showing Notification ON\/OFF<\/strong> feature enables you to extend your ActiveKEY\u2019s battery life (operating time between battery charges) by turning off Showing Notifications on your ActiveKEY. A Showing Notification is a text message that is displayed on the ActiveKEY when an agent opens an iBox. You may opt to turn off Showing Notifications on your ActiveKEY if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>prefer to receive their      showing notifications via email,<\/li>\n<li>do not have active      listings,<\/li>\n<li>or do not use the      showing notifications that are sent to your ActiveKEY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With the new <strong>Battery Conservation<\/strong> feature, the ActiveKEY will no longer search for Showing Notifications during the off-peak hours of 9 p.m. to 9 a.m., Daylight Time. Our analysis shows that less than 2% of showings take place during this time. If you live in an area with poor cellular coverage, you may find that this feature increases your ActiveKEY\u2019s battery life.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, with the new <strong>Quick Charge<\/strong> feature it will take less time for your ActiveKEY\u2019s battery to charge.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For a complete list of new firmware features, read: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gesecurity.com\/GESecurity\/Real%20Estate\/Subcontent\/Brochures%20and%20flyers\/Agent_ActiveKEY_Firmware%20_Update.pdf\"><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">ActiveKEY Firmware Update 1.14<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>P.S.<\/strong> &#8211; Supra has also added a new &#8220;Safe Mode&#8221; feature if your key gets too hot.
