Condominiums excluded.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Detached: A stand-alone residence, excluding manufactured homes, for which the sale includes the land on which the residence is located.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Now \u2013 remember how your teachers would have you come up with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetry.com\/techniques\/glossary.asp\">acrostic poems<\/a>? It&#8217;s when you take each letter of your name or a word &amp; you have to use it as the first letter in each line of the poem (here are instructions on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mahalo.com\/how-to-write-an-acrostic-poem\">how to write an acrostic poem<\/a>&#8230; in \u00a0case you wanted to know). \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We came up with one each for Attached &amp; Detached houses to help you remember the difference!<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTACHED:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>djoined<\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong>o\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong>hings, such\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>s<\/p>\n<p><strong>C<\/strong>eilings and walls of other<\/p>\n<p><strong>H<\/strong>ouses,<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>specially <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>D<\/strong>uplexes<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>DETACHED:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>D<\/strong>isconnected from\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>veryone, especially from<\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong>hose<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>djacent buildings,<\/p>\n<p><strong>C<\/strong>onstruction, and\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>H<\/strong>ousing. But, connected to<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>arth and<\/p>\n<p><strong>D<\/strong>irt\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ok, I&#8217;m aware that acrostic poems probably won&#8217;t be particularly helpful in remembering what&#8217;s attached v. detached, but just let this silly attempt at a mnemonic device serve\u00a0as a reminder to be <span style=\"text-decoration:line-through;\">cogniscent<\/span> cognizant of the issue when entering listings.
