Ever show an empty house and wonder where all the furniture in the listing photos went? We&#8217;d like to help.<\/p>\n<p>RMLS\u2122 will release a new feature Monday, August 22nd, designed to help clarify listing photos uploaded to RMLS<em>web<\/em>. Two types of photos will now require watermarks: photos with virtual staging, and photos of a model home.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9445 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/VirtuallyStaged-1024x618.jpg\" alt=\"VirtuallyStaged\" width=\"1024\" height=\"618\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/VirtuallyStaged-1024x618.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/VirtuallyStaged-300x181.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/VirtuallyStaged-768x463.jpg 768w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/VirtuallyStaged.jpg 1228w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Photos that are virtually staged include furniture and other items that have been added electronically to a photograph. Under construction or proposed listings that feature an actual built house in photographs are not an <em>exact<\/em> representation of the listed property, and as such will need to be flagged as a sample image.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a listing with either or both of these features, you can set the watermark(s) in Listing Load on RMLS<em>web<\/em>. Open the photo loader, and check the appropriate box(es) in the right hand corner. Don&#8217;t forget to save the changes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9444 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/LLWatermarks.jpg\" alt=\"LLWatermarks\" width=\"1001\" height=\"243\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/LLWatermarks.jpg 1001w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/LLWatermarks-300x73.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/LLWatermarks-768x186.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1001px) 100vw, 1001px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Checking these boxes will create watermarks on listing photos that read &#8220;virtually staged&#8221; or &#8220;sample image,&#8221; eliminating confusion about the photographs.<\/p>\n<p>Saving a photo with checkbox(es) marked permanently alters the image stored on RMLS\u2122 servers. This means if you accidentally add a watermark in error, you&#8217;ll need to delete the photo and upload a clean copy using the photo loader.<\/p>\n<p>Do note that when preparing a new listing, the listing will need to be published before the Sample Image box is available in Listing Load.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rmlsweb.com\/v2\/public2\/loadfile.asp?id=9019\" target=\"_blank\">The RMLS\u2122 Rules and Regulations have been revised to reflect these new photo requirements<\/a>, which take effect as soon as the feature is rolled out on Monday, August 22nd.<\/p>\n<p>Confused by the new change?
