Over 2,700 subscribers took the 2016 RMLS\u2122 Subscriber Satisfaction Survey, doing their part to voice their opinions and help us guide the organization into 2017.<\/p>\n<p>This annual survey is crucial in the RMLS<em>web<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2014\/03\/26\/mls-insight-the-rmlsweb-development-process\/\" target=\"_blank\">development process<\/a>, as subscriber feedback can lead to RMLS<em>web<\/em> improvements the following year. Data from the survey also helps set priorities for the organization as a whole, identifies areas of improvement in each department, and acts as an overall indicator of how the organization is performing.<\/p>\n<p>Detail-oriented subscribers may have noticed the rating system change from a five-point to a ten-point scale this year. This was at the request of the RMLS\u2122 Board of Directors. While this change eliminated the safety of a &#8220;neutral&#8221; option, doubling the number on a past survey response offered an easy way to compare results from previous years.<\/p>\n<p>How did RMLS\u2122 fare in this challenging year? Let&#8217;s have a look at a couple of key questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OVERALL SATISFACTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyRMLSOverall.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9610 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyRMLSOverall.jpg\" alt=\"surveyrmlsoverall\" width=\"979\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyRMLSOverall.jpg 979w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyRMLSOverall-300x57.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyRMLSOverall-768x146.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 979px) 100vw, 979px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>RMLS\u2122 subscribers rated their overall satisfaction as an 8.4. Adjusted for the new rating system, the overall score on this same question in 2015 was 7.6.<\/p>\n<p>Opinions about every single survey question varied wildly, and this big question was no different.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Comments:<\/span><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;RMLS\u2122 always does a great job responding to my questions or problems.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Better than it&#8217;s ever been, but still not rockin&#8217; it.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Very friendly staff, just a bit costly to me, being a new agent.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;If I was more familiar, it would be more valuable.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;I would like to see more &#8216;appraiser friendly&#8217; search options.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Perfect service.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;I am a member of three other MLS services and RMLS\u2122 is head and shoulders above them all.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Darn close to invaluable.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>RMLS<em>WEB<\/em> PROJECTS THAT HELPED YOUR BUSINESS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyProjectsImproveBiz.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9609 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyProjectsImproveBiz.jpg\" alt=\"surveyprojectsimprovebiz\" width=\"976\" height=\"468\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyProjectsImproveBiz.jpg 976w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyProjectsImproveBiz-300x144.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SurveyProjectsImproveBiz-768x368.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 976px) 100vw, 976px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>RMLS\u2122 released several improvements to RMLS<em>web<\/em> since the previous survey. Few of these changes impacted all 13,000 subscribers the same way, but taking metrics gives us information on where RMLS\u2122 got the most bang for its development buck.<\/p>\n<p>Ten projects were listed, with the scores ranging from 7.1 to 8.9. Topping the list at 8.9, the clear winner was the new <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2015\/10\/08\/a-new-listing-status-and-photo-loader-final-steps-in-this-years-forms-change\/\" target=\"_blank\">RMLS<em>web<\/em> photo loader, capable of loading up to 36 images for each listing<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2016\/02\/24\/new-on-rmlsweb-send-listing-view-counts-to-clients-automatically-via-email\/\" target=\"_blank\">Listing View Counts Emails<\/a> followed with an overall score of 8.4. <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2016\/03\/24\/mls-insight-2016-development-projects-on-tap\/\" target=\"_blank\">Increasing the frequency of auto-emails<\/a> placed next on the list at 8.2, with <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2016\/03\/24\/mls-insight-2016-development-projects-on-tap\/\" target=\"_blank\">prospecting notification frequency<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2016\/01\/22\/roster-improvements-coming-to-rmlsweb-january-28th\/\" target=\"_blank\">roster improvements<\/a> both landing at 8.0.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2016\/04\/28\/oref-users-zipform-integration-now-available-on-rmlsweb\/\" target=\"_blank\">OREF\/zipForm integration<\/a> showed up at 7.8 and RPR single sign-on at 7.7. Next, <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2016\/06\/30\/harness-the-power-of-the-rpr-flyer-from-rmlsweb\/\" target=\"_blank\">RPR flyer integration<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2015\/11\/25\/improved-mapping-on-rmlsweb-coming-thursday-december-3rd\/\" target=\"_blank\">new RMLS<em>web<\/em> mapping system<\/a> tied at 7.3, with the new <a href=\"http:\/\/rmlscentral.com\/2016\/08\/19\/photo-watermarks-coming-monday-to-rmlsweb\/\" target=\"_blank\">photo watermarks<\/a> closing the list at 7.1.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, RMLS\u2122 listed four system improvements, with ratings (adjusted) ranging from 6.6 to 7.0.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Comments:<\/span><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;I hate to admit that I didn&#8217;t know about most of these, but am looking forward to learning more about them!&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;The new mapping system is nice!&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;The new mapping tool is okay.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Not a fan of the new maps.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Anything new in regards to photos\/logos\/editing is always helpful.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;I love the increase in photo count!&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;The photo watermarks are great, the virtually staged is helpful too.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;These questions make me think I need a class as I am not using half of the improvements.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;While these features sound good, the implementation of them is often clunky.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Almost none of this has anything to do with appraisers.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;LOVE the watermarks &#8211; super handy for new construction\/purposed homes!!!!!&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;RPR is fabulous!
