Got a Great Real Estate App? Need a Great Real Estate App? Check Out REpurposed Apps!

REPurposedAppsSmartphones are a vital part of daily business for an average REALTOR®, and the National Association of REALTORS® has a great idea for pooling resources.

REpurposed Apps connects REALTORS® to a variety of apps that can be used for real estate business. These apps can be sorted by platform (iOS or Android) or categories like finance, education, or media. Download links are available for each app.

Registered users can recommend or rate apps—and registration is available for anyone with their NRDS number. Users can even share information about how they’ve used an app for real estate that wasn’t necessarily built for real estate.

One area of the site showcases members who are particularly knowledgeable—the member’s top app picks, and how he or she uses each.

RMLS™ Supports the Portland State University MRED Program

PSULogoRMLS™ is active in the real estate community across all the areas we serve. Each year we lend support to a variety of events such as classes, installations, and charitable golf tournaments, all organized by our shareholder and member associations.

What subscribers may not know is that RMLS™ also supports the Master in Real Estate Development (MRED) program at Portland State University. RMLS™ wants to encourage the cultivation of professionals in real estate, and does so in a couple of ways.

Each quarter, the department releases the Center for Real Estate Quarterly. Fans of our Market Action newsletter will find even more numbers in the quarterly, as well as insightful analysis of the Portland-area and statewide markets by MRED Academic Director Dr. Gerard Mildner and the graduate students of the program. RMLS™ provides Market Action statistics for inclusion in this quarterly.

Readers of the online publication may also notice that the contributors include a RMLS™ Student Fellow. RMLS™ sponsors one fellowship each year, awarded to an applicant who is expected to contribute to each issue of the Center for Real Estate Quarterly for the year.

RMLS™ believes that supporting the education of REALTORS® boosts the reputation of the real estate industry as a whole. To that end, RMLS™ is proud to support the Portland State University MRED program and its students in their work.
